TIANJIN (FIBA Asia Championship) - Jordan led for almost the entire game and defeated Qatar 74-60 in a Group F game on Tuesday.

Jordan are now 4-0 and take on China on Wednesday to decide the Group toppers.

Qatar – 1-3 in win-loss – will need to beat UAE and hope Kazakhstan don’t upset Lebanon to avoid any mathematical calculations to decide their fate.

Zaid Abbas, Rasheim Wright and Sam Daghlas led the Jordanian cause in an all-round scoring show.

Zaid Abbas pulled down a game-high six rebounds to go with his team-high 21 points.

Wright returned 18 points.

And Sam Daghlas effected four assists to add value to his 12 points.

Jordan took charge of the game with a Wright three-pointer and never allowed Qatar to even tie the score again for the rest of the game.

Saad Ali led the Qatar’s scoring with a game-high 24 points and Mustafa Elsayad chipped in 13 points
